Yes, We are Open Source

As we may have mentioned, we like code to be open. We use open source software extensively, and there isn't any reason why other people shouldn't benefit equally from our work.

Furthermore, we see it as the only real way to make our platform truly attractive. Other Platform-as-a-Service providers may state a desire to be open, we've been that way from day one.

While some parts of our system may remain proprietary (like our infrastructure specific datastore) we'll always provide enough of our code to make sure that you can run your applications in your own data center if you'd like. We think we'll be able to do it better, but it should be your decision.
